Arielle Dombasle Biography
Arielle Dombasle of its true name Arielle Sonnery de Fromental was born on April 27, 1958 in Norwitch, in Connecticut (the USA). It passes its childhood and its adolescence in Mexico, where, his/her large father is an ambassador of France. Formed with the ballet dancing, it assembles also a small theatre company as of the twelve years age. In 1976 it leaves Mexico for Paris in order to study there the dramatic art and the song. It is registered with the academy main road of music.
In 1978, Arielle begins with the cinema in "Perceval the Welshman" from Eric Rohmer of which it will be the MUSE until 1983, as well to the cinema as with the theatre.
In 1981 Arielle passes from the other with dimensions of the camera while realizing "Driven out Cross" which will be followed in 1987 by "the blue Pyramids".
In June 1993 it marries Bernard-Henri Lévy.
In spite of its many occupations with the theatre and the cinema it does not cease being devoted to the song, its first and true passion and in 2003 leaves its first album, "Extase" which is sold with 200 000 specimens, where it sings Fauré and Gounod in electronic version. Encouraged and moved by the good reception of the public, Arielle returns at the end of 2004 with a second opus to the promising title: "Amor Amor". In 2006, Arielle Dombasle makes its return in the obscure rooms while being to the poster of "Nouvelle Chance". The same year, it leaves its troième opus, "C'Est Si Bon", album of resumptions of American titles of Judy Garland in Marilyn Monroe while passing by Billie Holiday
